Where wealth and prescriptive codes of behaviour go hand in hand, where trimmed gardens cling to one-family houses, youthful dreams of experiencing adventure and breaking norms find an utterly unconducive ground to grow in. Nevertheless, Venetus Flos (Blue Flower), Swiss synth-pop, came to prosper on such grounds. Combining the energy of White Lies with the gloominess of Depeche Mode, singer Julien Zeno's growling, baritone, reminiscent of The National's Matt Berninger, makes up a big part of their uniqueness.

With their EP “Bound For Glory”, released in 2011, they stated impressively to whom the future belongs. At the time, the debut album „EUPHORIA“ is in the making and will be produced by Roli Mosimann (The Young Gods, Faith No More, New Order and more).

Wo Wohlstand und normative Verhaltenskodexe Hand in Hand gehen und sich gepflegte Gärten an Einfamilienhäuser schmiegen, finden jugendliche Träume vom Fortkommen und Ausbrechen einen denkbar schlechten Nährboden. Nichtsdestotrotz, aus ebensolchem Grund ist Venetus Flos (Blaue Blüte) gewachsen, die Schweizer Synth-Pop Band mit der Energie von White Lies, der Düsternis von Depeche Mode und einem an Matt Berninger (The National) gemahnenden, mächtigen Bariton an den Vocals.

Mit der 2011 erschienenen Debut-EP „Bound For Glory“ machte das Trio eindrücklich klar, wem die Zukunft gehören wird. Zur Zeit arbeiten sie mit Produzent Roli Mosimann (The Young Gods, Faith No More, New Order) am Debut-Album „EUPHORIA“, welches im Frühjahr 2013 veröffentlicht wird.

Avec leur premier single, „Bound for Glory“, sorti en 2011, le trio se posait comme ceux à qui le futur appartient. En ce moment, leur premier album „Euphoria“ est en cours de création, il sortira au printemps 2013 et sera produit par Roli Mosimann (The Young Gods, Faith No More, New Order).
